Manager assaults receptionist for rejecting love advances

Queensley

A hotel manager on the outskirts of Asaba, Delta State (names withheld) has allegedly beaten up his receptionist, Gaya Queensley, for refusal to his love advances. It was reliably gathered that the manager of the hotel had been asking the receptionist out since she was employed two years ago before the incident.

Sources said that the receptionist had insisted she was a virgin and appealed to the manager to look elsewhere but her appeal fell on deaf ears when the manager allegedly pounced on her when she honoured an invitation to his office. He allegedly attempted to force her into love making after locking the door. But the manager denied the allegation, saying the receptionist was a questionable character.

Speaking to our correspondent, the victim, Queensley said, “My oga attempted to force me and I refused. He started beating me and injured me before I reported to the police at the B-Division.”

At the B-Division Police Station, senior police officers who did not want their names in print said the suspect was being interrogated, adding that the victim had been taken to the hospital for treatment.”
